“COME,” inspired by Matthew 14:29, began after a dream I had on October 20, 2025.

In the dream, Thomas Jefferson led me from the Jefferson Memorial toward the White House, where I witnessed a raging storm and Jesus walking on the water, extending His hand to President Donald Trump and saying, “Come.” The vision symbolized a call for our nation and its leaders to depend on God, represented by the founding documents of the United States of America forming the nation’s foundation and the “Declaration of Independence” becoming a “Declaration of Dependence on God.”

I began painting on November 22, 2025, completing it on March 1, 2026. Throughout the process, I worked in prayer and submission, paying attention to the symbolism and spiritual meaning behind each part of the painting. My heart behind this work is to share the message of Jesus’ invitation to trust Him and step out in faith, even in the midst of the storm.
